As many of you know, I have been working on my price guide since 2008. Now I have updated it and included the prices for the Toppers (what data I have gathered so far anyways). I also put my factoids from the previous thread into the guide. This is now getting to the point where it can be called a guide instead of just a list. This guide is roughly double the size of the previous one. If you want to read about the first list, you can do so here...

http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=186519

The guide is $5 gifted PayPal. Once I receive payment, the guide will be emailed to you (just like before). I won't be releasing another guide until next year. These guides will come out in the early spring and late summer every year. People who have purchased the previous guide can compare the prices and see where the trends are and which games' prices are steadily rising. People who did not buy the first list and would like a copy...add $1 to your payment and I will email both lists to you ($6 gifted PayPal total).

Payments are to be sent to [email protected]

As always, I appreciate feedback and if there is anything you would like to see added to the list you can feel free to PM me or post it in this thread. Each updated list will get it's own thread so there is no confusion.

Don't want to cause you any alarm but my mother just died in January from CJD (creutzfeldt-jakob disease). It is quite rare but her symptoms developed much like you have described. She was diagnosed finally at John's Hopkins (In Baltimore). The head of their neurology department is excellent (btw).

Wish you the best of luck with your ailment.

Basically she went un-diagnosed for about 1yr - 18months. Developed with problems with vertigo and balance. She worked full time and was on the Food Network quite often as the BBQ spokesman for her industry. Within approx 1yr she went from fully functioning working everyday to hospice.

I pray you do not have the same condition but you should do your research on "prion" diseases which attack the brain. Ruling out things it is not will help you determine what it is.

Best of luck to ya.

Yeah, at this point I am tired of the medical field and just want someone to cut the bullsh*t and level with me. I got a letter from a Doctor in Iowa that has told me that all the treatments and meds I have been given over the last year and half were completely unnecessary. I had sent him my medical records and he had agreed to look at them and give me his opinion free of charge (he is my garandmother's neurologist). He said that my tests all showed that the problems the treatments were supposed to help were normal to begin with. He referred me to a Doctor in Missouri. I'll contact this new guy to see if he will take a look at my test results too but I am hoping that Johns Hopkins can do something for me.

Also machfelon, my condolences for your Mother's passing in January and I appreciate your well-wishes on my diagnosis.

PlayChoice Prototypes on KLOV???

KidVidiot recently posted a For Sale thread of PlayChoice-10 game PCBs that included two games that immediately stirred a few people up. He had PCBs of Bases Loaded and Ninja Gaiden that looked unusual and came up on the Game Selection Screen & Instruction Screen as "New Game 1" and "New Game 2". I received emails from a few members wanting to know my take on the games and I told them I couldn't really help without KidVidiot's help. Luckily, a day later, KidVidiot PM'ed me asking if I could verify these games for him. I asked him to provide info and photos of a lot of different things. It took about a week to get the pix and info needed but I am finally ready to tackle this issue.

This post I will focus on the motherboard. He is working with a Dual Monitor motherboard. Here are the pix that were supplied...

These pix show that the motherboard is untampered and hooked up correctly. There are no fnacy jumper wires added like in a few PC10 MOBOs that will play a set of 5-in-1 games. He is also running ORIGINAL BIOS (I can explain this assumption better in the next post).

Now onto Bases Loaded...

Here are the pix of the Game Select Screen and the Bases Loaded game running...

From these photos you can see that the PC10 he is running them on has an ORIGINAL BIOS because they say "Insert Coin!!" and the timer reads 0. CUSTOM BIOS chips don't allow for coin play as they use the coin door switches in their game name customization functions so it will always say "Free Play". The Bases Loaded game has all of it's chips including the 8 pin security chip which are made specifically for each title. That's why if you have a custom name rom made and run it in a CUSTOM BIOS MOBO you have to pull the security chip for the name to display without having to manually input the title into the Game Select Screen. Also, you cannot modify the instruction screen with CUSTOM BIOS. The instructiions are programmed into the EPROMs and no one has been able to code in custom instructions as of yet.

Based on the pix provided and the information gathered, it looks to be a legitimate PROTOTYPE cart.

This game displays all of the same characteristics as the Bases Loaded cart. I do believe this to be a legitimate PROTOTYPE game cart as well.
