New Twilight Zone Playfield

Make sure you do a little research into the issues with the Mirco TZ playfields, if you already haven't. And I think I read hear or on RGP that someone sent their ceramic coated one back due to issues and got a normal clearcoated one; and they said the normal clearcoat looked alot better than the ceramic.

According to Rick from BAA, at Expo he said he will be inspecting them and Mirco knows to have the fields on spot. Planetary Pinball will not stand for errors!

Is PPS selling these directly or something? Seems to me after the inital licene of the product they would leave quality control up to the manuf. unless they want to lose their licence to produce XYZ product. It's not like anyone is going to go to PPS if CPR makes a bad PF, or Pinball INC makes a wonky ramp, unless it was sold through PPS' site..

Rick at BAY Area Amusements will carry them. The 2 he had at the show were awesome looking. It includes the mini playfield.

Ah, okay. That's cool.. I'm pretty interested in them for nothing else than they're using a different clearcoat tech. Always nice to see more new stuff being applied to keep these things looking their best for longer.

*edit* Oh wait, I get it now... that dude has a stake in both companies, right? BAA and PPS?

He owns BAA and I'm not sure about PPS, he owns or is partners in it, they started PPS when they bought the Williams rights from Wayne in Australia.

Personally I wouldn't buy the TZ field, has lots of issues.
