looking at buying double dragon in original cabinet. cost 150.00. is it worth the money. shape is average for age of machine. Im just now starting to collect and looking for cyberball and 720. I have great memories when I was a teenager playing these games in local pizza joint. 720 is my favorite game. Now I have a big garage to hold all these beauties just need to convince wife.

As a new guy who may not know how to work on these (maybe you do) I would look for a few things.
Make sure the controls work reasonably well
Make sure the monitor doesn't have oddball color, or a distorted picture.
Look to see if there is swelling around the top or bottom corners where water may have
soaked up in the cabinet.

$150 is a fine price for a game that you have great memories about.

Is it in the original cab with all of the artwork? If it is I'd go for it. It would be more expensive to buy the parts and put one together.

That is a great price if the machine is working, but I would take into consideration the following two things that in my opinion kill the replay value of Double Dragon:

1. Continues: no skill necessary, you can just keep adding credits... and now they don't even have the "value" of having to pay a quarter for them.

2. It ends. So once you finish it with continues replay value diminishes and once you finish it on one credit, replay value is gone.

Great price, but mark my words, you'll be turning around and selling it for $150 in < 6 months. Go for the 720, but it'll cost alot more.
