Hi all, i am new to the EM world with my recently purchase of a Haunted House Game.
When we saw it in the warehouse we just had to have it. It does need some TLC but thats okay its all there that i can see.
I have a question though, if a person was to make a new cabinet the same measurements and paint it with the proper color codes and designs off the original cab and install all the original parts would I have destroyed its value/Collectivity?
Some of the woods a little pulpy in some areas and i was just wondering about if that was done. I probably never will get around to that but figured i would like to ask.
Here are a few pictures of it. :)

I agree not much need. Unless it's ready to fall to the ground on it's own. Some purist might de-value your game with a new cabinet

Thank you for your input and your right its not in that bad of shape. It was more so something that was going around in my head so i figured where better to ask.
I am really looking forward to tearing it all down and rebuilding/cleaning it up as i go. I have never worked on one before so will document its teardown with a ton of pictures and also document its rebuild for my site.
I had never seen its game play before but watched a few YouTube Videos of it and have to say looks like a fun game.
Thank you for your input on my question. :)

Thanks! I dont know much about them yet, but when i saw it in the warehouse something about it screamed to my wife and me. We are looking forwards to fixing it up and playing it.

I would recommend to use the existing cabinet. It should be made from solid plywood, replace what is damaged at most. I think it adds som character with the old cabinet.

Thanks for your reply. Your so very right, if it was too perfect it just wouldn't have that old feel. :)

I love the old EM games. They all look so cool I know people say the game play gets old after awhile but love those big old games. Good luck fixing it up and post lots of photos

Thanks! Im pretty happy about getting it! Im not sure when i will have time to start to tear it down so many other projects but im looking forward to it and will document it all as i go. :) For me thats part of the fun. LOL
Thanks
