NEW THREAD....great deals that you realized you SHOULDA bought!!

ok....i see all these other threads on here, polls, etc, etc.....how about this one.....what are some of the great deals that you guys have saw and passed on at the moment and later on your kicking youself for not buying??? or machines you had and sold cheap and wish you woulda kept?

ive got a long list but ill start this one off.......ive got alot of mistakes i passed on but 2 of my biggest were......
1. i passed on a kiss machine in 1998 for $300 that worked but had normal playfield wear only because i already had a kiss machine and never heard of someone having 2 of the same machine!!! (i had only been collecting for 2 years then)
2. back in 1997 i missed out on a working gottlieb el dorado for $25.....yes.....twenty five dollars.....it had a bad backglass i will admit but at the time i thought the whole machine wasnt worth it so i passed on it for $25 damn dollars....what an idiot

3. ive collected for awhile but i only recently have been learning to repair my own machines.......back in 2002ish i sold a non working meteor for $75 and a non working black hole for $250........wish i would saved those 2

I passed on a new MM back in '97 or so, even tho I *really* liked the game. (Not a killer deal at the time, but in retrospect....) OTOH, I *did* buy a CV NIB for $2100.

(I have a Gold Strike, AAB version of EL Dorado--nice game! Traded a $75 EM I fixed up for it, way back in the 80's. $25 would be a killer deal.)

there was alot of games i missed........someone on craigslist last year had a high hand in maryland for $125 that i missed......and a black knight 2000 for $400 that some college kids left behind in a dorm room at penn state. i told them i would leave my house right now to come buy them (on a friday) and they said the first caller on them would b there on monday and they had to give them first shot......i was pissed that whole weekend....hahahahaha......

theres alot i missed but not so much on newer dot matrix games that i can think of......my friend's little brothers friend's family has a working cyclone about 2 miles from me and the family is on the fence on whether to sell it or not......and im really hoping i get that one......

same way my other buddys family has a midway flying saucer shooting gallery that is MINT MINT MINT. everytime i call about it the kid says its for sale but then the dad says no its mine and then the grandfather says NO NO NO your storing that on my property and im not selling it........

I missed out on a Superman for $300. I got greedy and tried to get $50 off the price and sadly missed out on it as a result.

Also missed out on a Ninja Turtles machine because I didn't have anyway of getting it home.

i can thnk of another great one i missed out on..........one time i drove 4 hours to ohio to get a heat wave pinball machine (the one with the rising thermometer in the backglass) and the son said the dad would sell it for $200.......so once i got there they tried telling me this story that some guy in missouri offered more money......so i said ok ill give you $250........and they said no he offered $400.......and i said im not paying $400 (im not giving in to these kind of games). then the dad said i dont want you to match $400 i want you to BEAT $400 that he offered.......so i said forget it, you guys can have loads of fun crating that thing up to ship it!..........the game was mint and perfect
$200 woulda been a steal on a heat wave
