My Dad just dug this little gem out of storage as they're preparing to move. Forgot all about it. My uncle used to be a distributor and I had a bunch of vintage beer signs. Couldn't keep them as they were too big for my space...until now! This one is for a cash register and is small enough that I can make space for it. Plus, schlitz is back on the market!

Ha, Schlitz! Schlitz is making a huge comeback these days. We went from selling it in bottles to putting it on tap due to it's increased demand.

My friend brought me 2 cases of the bottles from Milwaukee and it's excellent. We can only still get the canned stuff which is horrible. Can't wait till the distribute nationwide again. I have a ton of old signs I found in the basement of my bar. I'm set for life if I ever finish the basement.

Classy as hell.

That's cool. I have a Budweiser one with a lighted sign area, clock, etc. Need to fix the light in it.

Haven't had Schlitz in forever. When I lived in the Midwest, my Grandpa always had a fridge in the garage stocked full of Falstaff for those of us 14 or older who wanted one (if our parents let us) - and one full of Fanta soda for those who weren't....

Schlitz coasters?

Anyone interested in a stack of old Schlitz coasters? I found them in my basement when I moved into the house. They are the usual cardboard type, with the Schlitz logo plus the words 'The beer that made Milwaukee Famous' on one side and 'When you're out of Schlitz, you're out of beer' on the other. They are a bit yellowed.

If anyone is interested, PM me, and I'll put up a picture.

PM sent. Forgot to mention that the little amber barrel actually rotates. It moves the second hand as it goes. Clock itself is frozen in that position, but since it will be turned on and off with the games, it doesn't matter.

You can get schlitz in the midwest again...or at least around Chicago
