Here's one of two new commercials I'm working on, this one is for the arcade side mostly. The bad early 90's video filter was a mistake that I decided to keep.

Your robotic voice isn't very robotic... it took a while to realize it was computer generated.

Good ad though.

Yeah it's a hard balance. Too robotic and you can't make it out. We've had lots of robot voices over the years and this one is robotic enough with still being able to hear what it's saying.

Good work Casey. I still have not been able to check out your store.. I never get there early enough before Jeff's party. I will get there one of these days. I think you have about 3 or 4 of my old games.
Just so you know, the voice say 147 and the address says 174. I assume one of those is wrong.

Yikes good catch, thanks! Yup there are a few of your games in there. :)

Your arcade looks really awesome! I like your commercial too. I know you didn't ask for it, but if I could make a few suggestions in regards to your TV spot.

- Look at adjusting your audio mix. At some points your VO is overwhelmed by you music track and is hard to hear.

- If you going to put graphics/type on the screen make sure it is complimenting what is being said at that moment in the VO.

- Can the viewer read it? Make sure your viewer has enough time before transitioning type in and out of the screen.

- Make sure people know how to find you (IRL and on the web) and maybe close it with a screen consisting of end graphics (your logo, URL, location, social media icons).

Just my 2 cents and I know it wasn't asked for. Just some constructive criticism.

Thanks for all the input, I'm going to rework that one tomorrow. I can't decide if I want to keep the degradation of the video quality that happened somewhere along the line, I liked it at first because it looked really dated.. but now I'm having second thoughts and might redo the whole thing to get rid of it.

Going to be posting another one I've been working on today that's much more sleek.

Laptop is at 8% it's a race against time to upload this new one to youtube... going... going...

Ok, way better background music, the voice is more robotic. I think the shot of the games should be video not still. The other stills are great.

Oh and you have to add in "beware" and "I hunger"!

I really like it.

Unless you can get Johnny 5 to star... :D

Yeah I tend to use stills, I like to more. I hate looking through video and editing it. I did commercials with video for years and I'm bored with it. Only so many ways you can pan a camera around in a store.

can you make the voice sound like Optimus?

i hate the microsoft voice.

Looks good man. I like the music of #2 better as well.

I am with you on stills. I like the way you have them fading in and out. Panning and or zooming shots look cheesy.

You could do motion for the arcade games but just leave the camera still and let the games provide the "action" with a tighter shot or two of some attract modes or gameplay.

Yep I did that with one of our last commercials if you look at our other videos.
