FS Game: New Pictures/New Prices - Full list of Arcades for Sale

Here's a partial list (there are a few not on the list that I will likely keep). Games are in Canada. Prices in US. I'm trying to be fair and pass on some decent games for the best prices I can. There may be discrepancies from the individual listings but we can work out the prices. Pictures will come as I get to the games. Most games are 8 out of 10 and working unless otherwise noted.

Playchoice 10 - carts (I have 23 total that will be sold with PC10 or PC10 bartop)

Project Games

All those games and not a single Nintendo Red Tent! DOH!

What do you rate the Escape Robot Monsters game in a car crash? surely not an 8/10 scale.

I'll take the Sinistar and chip in $$$ for shipping and handling if someone makes the run!

Haha get in line...... I sent a PM hours ago on the Sinistar's and haven't heard anything back yet.

I'm assuming I'm not the first in line for those either.

Looking at the Track and Field Cabinet or VS supermario, could you please text me some pictures?

I live in Burlington Ontario so close.

The response has been a little overwhelming as I've had these games listed in Ontario on and off without much interest.

I'm dealing with multiple game requests first and obviously those that will pick up.

If I haven't got back to you; msg me again. I will be going back thourgh to pick up the msgs I missed.

Games will be marked that are unavailable, shortly.

About the games: Most came from the US, I traveled to get with the dream of opening and arcade (big risk) so I brought the games to conventions (essentially a captive audience) and it's been fun but too much work. Now I just want to keep my favorite ones.

About the prices: Just asking what I paid or have into the games. Most were bought in the US. In the end I'll may lose a bit because of custom fees and some were shipped. A lot were repaired.

I am just a passionate collector (not a dealer) who wanted to bring games to people to play. I've built this collection in about 2 1/2 years.

I don't believe I know Craig but I do know craigslist!

Here's a one of my favorite arcade setups

How does that work if I bought a game in Canada and had it shipped here?

US to US shipping seems to be around $400. What about from Canada?

How does customs come into play? That has to cost something, right?

Just curious, mainly. I'm full up at the moment.

I don't know how declaring purchases at the US border works as I usually cross the US side to buy.

It would be more to ship from Canada because the shipping company would charge a brokerage fee to bring it into the US.

I live near a border city and have games/parts shipped within the US and just pick it up and declare it (play the game) at the Canadain border when I cross.

We pay tax (13%) on the $Canadian equivalent to what we spend in $US on what we buy. There are some exceptions if you stay 24hrs or 48hrs. But unless you want to sleep in your van to save tax on a few $100 its not worth it. In simple terms; 24hrs state side gets $200 duty free and 48hrs + gets you $800 duty free.

I live in Canada next to the U.S. border and everytime I have sold a game to someone in the U.S. I had to bring it to the U.S. side and had it shipped from there. Shipping from Canada to the U.S. is very expensive. You will have to get a brokerage firm. So you will have to pay their brokerage fees + customs + shipping. IMHO it's usually a deal breaker unless it's a game you can't find anywhere else. If you are in driving range best go and pick it up and bring it back into the U.S. yourself.

Interesting, guys, thanks.

I've often wondered how this worked... sounds like it's a real PITA.

Try going the other way:

Price of games in USD plus exchange rate (+30%) plus taxes (+13%) makes almost any game in the US short of a basket case project not worthwhile, unless its a hard-to-find title

SJFB's Spy Hunter cockpit at $1800 USD works out to $2650 CAD, not including the costs to get it from point A to point B. Pins are even worse!

Yes I agree. A good chunk of my collection of around 50 machines came from the U.S. Some I drove to get and some were shipped. Dealing with Canadian customs was usually pretty straight forward. But since our dollar went to hell it pretty much put an end to that.

What's the 13%? Customs duty?

Great Job!

I just wanted to let Steve know that I thought he did a great job of handling all elements of his sales post from yesterday. We all know that when we post a big sale of individual units that you get instantly overwhelmed by the number of PM's that come in.

Thanks Steve - and thanks for posting the games with fair KLOV prices. I certainly appreciate it!

its like a pack of wild woves on a single piece of meat when deals like this come along. i didn't get any pics and ended learning they were sold while i was waiting for pics.

its not the end of the world but goes to show ya he who has the most cash wins.

Same here, even as close as I am, no new cades coming my way, whaaaaaaaaaaaaah :(

Steve, is choosing to sell in large lots, and I am just way too tight to buy like that. Plus I have a wife to answer to that when I mentioned to her that I will spend a certain amount on a lot, I almost got the couch.

I initially went in with 5 choices, and narrowed it down to two, but he wasnt willing to part with these two at the moment in small lots.

Well, you win some, you lose some. C'est la vie.

I missed out on the ones I was interested in as well, but understand the need to move a large amount easily and cash talks. I have sold games to the OP as well and can say that he is a stand up guy that I would be happy to do deals with (both ways) any day. Buy with confidence!
