New Pickup - Star Wars Cockpit - Phoenix

From the CL pics that were up last week before you picked it up and from the rear marquee pics that were up and how low the serial # is its a dedicated factory ROTJ especially cuz its got a 19" mounted with no shelve just like the 25! I know ROTJ sucks compared to SW but if you convert it to SW please do it carfully, save all the dedicated cockpit ROTJ stuff and don't remove or cut any ROTJ stuff, its very very RARE. Just my opinion.

nice score! i know it's not a huge production in the cockpit, but still a low production #. from yr title i thought it was a star wars cockpit converted to phoenix.

I now know it's factory. After looking inside, nothing but. All serials match. The bolts are a dead giveaway (great eye by the way!).

ROTJ is great! I just got done ordering the kits to rebuild the ARII and brick.

It's staying as ROTJ. I just have to pick up another cockpit for the other...

"Atari Return of the Jedi (SW cockpit Kit, one of only 50 released/sold) and this one, as far as we could make out, had a prototype rear marquee. It was very intricately made up of layers of photocopied art and hand coloured, with overlaid transparencies, no way it was an operator-made thing. The actual kit marquee is sorta like bright pink/red/yellow rainbow stripes around the jedi logo, very basic. I think the last owner of this removed it, thinking it was a hack job, and pulled it to pieces despite my protests, it was destroyed and thrown out (from memory)"

Never played ROTJ...I have the multi kit installed in my Star Wars Cockpit with SW and ESB....wonder if ROTJ could be hacked in for tri-fecta...
Thats cool find and cheap too...wish I had room for another cockpit...but no way until i have more space..

It think you might find it difficult to run ROTJ on a vector monitor. It would be sweet if some of those original programmers or new ones got together and righted the wrong that is ROTJ and came up with a sweet vector remake.

Ha! Nice, thread from the dead!!!

I have the Berzerk sitting proudly in the gameroom. It's been restored, new CP, new gameboard, monitor, artwork....the works! One of my favorites. :D
