A few months ago my neon "Gameroom" sign burned out; it was a cheaply made small thing, no big loss. I have been thinking about a replacement and I found a clearanced photo frame yesterday. I've already found some great vintage arcade photos and magazine scans for it from Funspot, Aladdin's Castle, and other arcade chains using the search function on this forum. I also plan to add a few manufacturer logo pictures for it too: Atari, Sega, Namco, Midway, Cinematronics, Mystar, etc.

Does anyone else have of of these things wall mounted in your gameroom?
What do you use it for? Maybe create a picture for a high score table also?

My searches turned up a lot of dead/removed pictures from threads here. Is there a nice zip archive somewhere to simplify things?

I am also searching for an early 80's mall photo collection that came up a bit ago...my searching hasn't come up with the proper link yet. Anyone have a link?
EDIT: FOUND IT! http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/42454073

I have one in my gameroom. I found a bunch of old arcade photos and beer signs and put them on an SD card and mounted the thing to my wall. It's cool.

What kinda machine is the girl in pic 22 standing in front of? It has "SR2" on the side.

I used to love those things. I remember the state fair in New Mexico having one and one of the malls in Albequerque had one as well.

Here's a cool pic from the source that didn't make the cut with msnbc

I recently picked up a photo frame with the intent of putting it in the arcade with a bunch of flyers loaded on it. It's a smaller one (8"), and I originally thought of hanging it on the wall, but now I think I've come up with a better idea... still on the wall, just "concealed". I'm going to cut a hole in the wall and install a coin door, then mount the photo frame inside. Open up the coin door and check out the pics... :) I want to light up the coin entrys as well. I might be working on this next week, if I get it done I'll post some pics.

Ive got a similar idea. I built a small 2/3 scale ms pacman to practice wood working a little and thought about building another one but only the front third of it and mount it to the wall. My current digital signage would take the place of the monitor (I use Xibo to run the sign)....it should look like a mini arcade machine sticking out of the wall when I get done with it and could display all my photos, flyers, videos, weather...you name it...
