New PC gamer. Steam vs. GOG

What's the difference and are these even the best sites. I find GOG menu harder to navigate. Thoughts

never heard of GOG, do they do sales like steam? holiday time steam makes a killing

I think GOG puts a lot more emphasis on older titles and making sure they're still compatible. No reason you can't use both.

Exactly. It's all about what you're looking for. Steam for newer titles, good sales, and a good mix of everything else. GOG for older games. Desura (o noes another service!) for indie games.
