I think it says a lot that the people who know Rob and have dealt with him have nothing but nice things to say. Does Rob over post on Craigslist? Yes, but is it really harmful outside of skipping the listing on your daily CL search? Does his website need some work? Sure, but it's important to note that Rob does this part time and no individual is great at everything.
Just remember that he chose to do this in his spare time, as a hobby, and it directly has helped hundreds of people find parts that they normally wouldn't have found. It's easy to forget that there is a person behind the monitor when it's so easy to rag on a website or criticize remotely.
As someone who has met Rob on many occasions and bought from him multiple times over this past year, I can say that he's a stand-up guy that cares about the hobby. Who else would salvage every single bit of a machine -- down the screw -- and help other restorers out the way that he does? I can understand having a problem with the "kill list" thing, but as HFK said, many of those were cabs you'd normally see curbside waiting for the garbage man.
Anyway, I hope the internet talk doesn't get to him to much. I know he's trying to advertise his service any way he can (agree with the methods or not) and once you've used it, you'll be glad you did.
