I have 2 WICO Reproduction Nintendo Orange buttons. These have not been used. They fit in my DK and Popeye CPOs perfectly without making adjustments to either the buttons or the CPO. I am asking $17 shipped each.

are these just the Wico buttons that just have the shoulders sized down to fit a Nintendo CP?

WICO made repro Nintendo buttons BITD (I just found this out from KLOV member slots). They aren't like the ones from MikesArcade that are regular buttons that have been modified to fit a Ninty CPO. These buttons were made specifically for Ninty use.

So these will look good on a Mario Bros? I have original blues to go with it, just want to make sure they won't "look" too different.

If yes, I'll take them.

Here is a comparison shot of an original Blue vs the WICO Orange. I just snapped a quick pic so the quality isn't good, but it does show the orange plunger sits slightly lower due to the location of the e-clip slot being slightly higher on the plunger stem than the original Blue.

What's that mean, bally table wiz?

lolz. It means I sincerely hope you were kidding.

To the trained Nintendo collector eye, it's obvious in more ways than one that they are far from an OEM Nintendo button. Color is incorrect, plunger top profile is completely different, and the e-clip position is too high. Heck, the gloss even looks wrong, almost lacquered looking. And the e-clip is black oxide instead of plain steel - not that anyone (even me) would care about that. I could go on; plunger height, mounting depth, (which will affect microswitch placement/adjustment), etc.

These are just some of the pitfalls that armiXXXX must overcome to produce an acceptable reproduction replacement.

Next time, try explaining it in a better way. I commented on the thread trying to help the gentleman sell his really nice buttons he's got for sale.

The way you approached me was a dick move. I wasn't kidding, I thought they looked the same to me, and instead of just explaining the differences, you took a cheap shot and tried to ridicule me.

That's a sign of immaturity, and ignorance.

I guess this ignorant, immature, dick taught you something today.

....butthurt, butthurt, lashout, namecalling...

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize it was MY responsibility to educate you. I assumed you knew since you have been here for years and years; buying, selling, and RUNNING A RETAIL ARCADE BUSINESS :D

I sincerely thought you were kidding and found it appropriate to add to the "joke" since the items had sold. Sorry I ruined your day.

You didn't ruin my day, I was just wondering why you were trying to ridicule me. I've never done anything to you; never had an unkind word to say about you, and was at the moment trying to help somebody sell their item.

Just thought you could be a little cooler about it, but do as you please. I always thought you were pretty cool... what's up?
