doesn't matter what order, you don't need the plastic tool for the contrast unless it's mounted on your monitor chassis and your worried about getting zapped. I use my plastic tool to adjust Brightness and focus as i've been zapped before when trying to adjust it (once is one to many times).
your contrast might not need to be messed with at all, the color bar utility menu will show you this (if there's bleeding it needs to be adjusted if no bleeding don't mess with it).
