I recently bought a new 19" monitor for my new cab...

The Output on the board reads like this

R
B
G
E
V
H

but the wiring on my jamma is

R
B
G
Sync
Ground

Here is this best picture I can get.. it is the wires in the center of the picture..

How do I wire these together, as there is no match for the yellow (V). Can someone help me on this? The top wires are coming from the monitor, the bottom is the plug from the JAMMA harness..

Does anyone know how to wire this?

It has the 6 pin connector wired into the

RBGEHV plugs, then right below it there are 3 more empty pins labeled EHV also...

I know the Red Blue and Green plugs, but what are these EHV ones??

The monitor came with a second.. Ill post a picture of the other wierd one...

The one currently hooked up is just the 6 bare wires...

Someone please help!!

The make of this monitor is an ORION.. If someone can tell me where to look I can find the model or serial number.. Thanks guys..

E is Earth, also known as Ground.

The H and V are your horizontal and vertical syncs, respectively. One pair is for positive sync, the other is negative sync.

Jamma games use composite negative sync. Connect that to the horizontal negative sync input.

Can you break that down a little bit? The jamma video cord has 1 sync wire.. And there are

R
G
B
E
V
H

E
V
H

Where exactly do I wire these to? (I'm new.) Thanks for your patience.

R - RED
G - GREEN
B - BLUE
E - GROUND
V
H

E
V
H - SYNC

Try the sync wire there, if it doesn't want to sync up, move it to the other sync connector. *traditionally*, the syncs next to the RGB inputs are positive, and the separate ones are negative. But I've seen this reversed on newer monitors, or more commonly, the positive syncs simply omitted.

If you put the sync in the wrong place, it won't work, but it won't break anything either.

Also, some monitors like the composite sync to be fed to both horizontal and vertical, others don't care, and others don't like it. Try connecting to both if you can't get it to work one way.
