Good Evening Everyone,

My name is Archie Short and I'm brand new to the group. Currently, I'm located in the South Florida area.

I'm very green to the hobby as I'm an interested collector with not very much experience but I'm looking forward to learning from others in the group.

Looking for some advice on what type of cabinets I should own first and if anyone has any easy beginner projects for me that you would like to get rid of.

Thanks!

Welcome Archie. This is a good place to learn. The knowledge level here is considerably higher than places like Facebook.

First project? I would agree, prob a Ms. Pac-Man. It's a game that most love, lots and lots of parts out there, the game is easy to find, and tons of knowledge. You can get real deep and take one all stock with stencils, or just vinyl it, or even custom vinyl. Fun!

Ones to collect? Look for those grails (Paperboy, 720, Tapper, etc) and don't overpay. If you get a good price you can always recoup your investment later.

First cabs need to be the ones you played the most as a kid. Every collector has their own favorite. Mine is mario brothers, yours may be different. Relive some memories!

Welcome to the group.

This would explain why I own 50+ cabs I played as a kid....... and counting... But all in all this is a very true statement. I have my fondest memory of playing TNK III in a 7-Eleven when I was a young. I have almost everything to build one out now, LS30 and all....except for the hard to find CP overlay.
