Just a quick note to let you all know we've had new Leaf Switch Joysticks several months now. They fit either metal or wood panels. The center section can be removed for flush mount on metal panels.

Nice! I'm glad I saw this post. I've been looking for a new leaf stick to replace an ultimarc 4/8 way switcher that I hate.

Do you have these in 4 way only versions?

Thanks, Jeff

Are the mounting holes the same as a Happ Ultimate joystick? I have two of those in my MAME cabinet and also in my robotron (really was a joust that I play robo in that at one time was a golden ax that i converted back). Anyway I'm thinking I might want to switch back to leafs.

If anyone has already used one of these sticks please post your opinions. Would like to know how they compare to an original wico stick. Mikes arcade did a nice job with the nintendo repros so I would assume if they had these made they should be nice too.

No, the bolt pattern is not the same, the bolt patttern is square. However, we are planning to make an adapter for the standard bolt pattern.

I don't currently have a 4-way solution. I'll see if I can come up with an alternate actuator to allow it to function as 4-way also. I'll have to give that some thought.

I'd love to have them reviewed. The leaf switches are different than any I've seen. They have a point that makes contact between them, but are not like standard switches. Not sure how to explain them. They are quiet, seem pretty reliable, and return to center well, but they are not constructed like a WICO stick at all. These are a new product for us, so no real history on them yet. I'll be happy to answer any question I can.
