New Kortek 2001 installed in Missile Command shakey picture help

MC had really bad burn in so I put in a new Kortek 2001 model. Had a lot of trouble getting it to sync. Finally just hooked up the horizontal sync and picture was great except there is just a tiny bit of shaking on the picture. If I tap the horizontal hold pot with my finger it will stop shaking for a second or so and then go back to shaking. Sorry for the noob question, but should I get someone to check out the pot and solder joint of the remote??
Can any pot be put in it's place or does it have to be one from Kortek??

Other than the slight shake, the picture is awesome.

Thanks for any help,

Kelly

I installed a second brand new Kortek 2001 and I am still getting the shakey picture with this monitor as well.
The inputs are R,G,B,E,V,H (space) E,V,H

I am using just the first R,G,B,E,V if I use both V and H I get a scrambled picture.

Usually it's the H sync which also takes the composite sync, try connecting it to that. One set of sync inputs may be positive and one may be negative so try both if necesary.

Got it working. My monitor needed the neg comp sync for the picture to work properly.
But it's not wired into the edge connector harness from the factory. Just added the wire to pin 18 (neg comp) and I've got a rock solid picture.
Thanks!
