New JAMMA adapters?

I just checked your prices. $50 for a Nintendo adapter?

No pictures but I'm guessing it's just a fingerboard and Edge connector. I have made a couple adapters so I do understand the time it takes to wire up and solder the adapters. But your prices are more than double what places like jammaboards.com sell adapters for.

Are you really this dumb? Why the hell would I have pictures on stuff that hasn't been designed or produced yet? I guess you didn't get the fact that I was looking for who's interested in what adapters, not actually posting anything for sale.

Maybe you should do a little research instead of making idiotic assumptions. I've been making PCB-based adapters since 2000, when I was the first on RGVAC to to sell them.

If you want to buy mass-produced shit from china that's based on stolen designs, go with the the 2 adapters that jammaboards actually has in stock. In this thread I'm talking about making adapters where I'd be lucky to sell 4 and break even on production costs.

Konami/Stern jamma adapter
I could sure use one for my Lost Tomb project :D
and jamma boards.com has been out of stock for a while :(

I've been making these since 2001, and still have about a dozen left. I don't plan on making them ever again, since the cheap chinese shit has undercut the price I can sell them at...

This might be the opposite of what he's looking for. I ran into the same problem looking for an adapter to play Stern/Konami stuff on a JAMMA machine.

Mark said he had them, but didn't reply to PM's/e-mail. I was on the jammaboards.com notification list for months and they never got more in. I ended up getting a used one from another KLOV'r.

yeah not sure there
was just going to adapter my Lost Tomb PCB into a Stern cab allready Jamma wired.

Yeah MArk says hes had them its 2001 and hasnt replied to my last PM either :(
kinda hard to sell if you dont reply with the sales info :D

Maybe Dokert needs to make a Stern/Konami repro Harness

edit:For the record I did get a reply back from Mark
Go to hell.

first of all, your first post clearly says "A list of the ones I currently stock is in my .sig" so I checked it out. No pictures of the adapters and nowhere does it say they are PCB Based adapters

Second, I already apologized for assuming they were wired adapters but now I take back my apology cause you are clearly a douche bag.

Third, you're right I'm so sorry I didn't research who you are and stalked your life cause you apparently have been making adapters since 2000 and the first on RGVAC to sell them. Good for you. Doesn't change the fact that you're the biggest asshole I have seen on these forums lol.

what's even funnier is I actually sent you an e-mail last night interested in buying one of your adapters you had in stock. Obviously you can just ignore that e-mail now thanks.

Good luck selling your adapters. Insulting potential customers might not be the best sales approach though.

JAMMA adapters are SOOO complicated that those godless Chinese bastards could NEVER have figured out how to make one on their own.

+1000

@HudsonArcade: Really I want to be on your side about people "stealing you designs" but every time I ready your posts you have such and attitude. What is the deal?
