New Iron Man vids

I've played and owned enough pins to know and see how it is cost effective. Not saying it's a bad thing business wise to do that, but it's far from ignorant, it's essentially Austin Powers with a new theme.

Schusler: Sega pin = where do you think all the parts came from? They are still running the same software on a lot of these on operator menus...Stern/Data East/Sega = all the same to me on games..the only ones that feel like Williams truly are Williams. Not saying it's a bad thing, but if you think it's worth $5000 to spend on a new pin based on theme, then play Austin Powers again and tell me otherwise.

Yeah I knew that Data East was Sega then Stern....Personally I don't care if a pin plays like a Williams! As long as it's good! Some people will pay 5k cause you know why it's Ironman. Keep in mind there is alot of people that didn't care for the AP theme. One other thing is the audio/sfx are leaps and bounds over AP......

Oh boy, it's a fanboy thing. Awesome.

I own 30 pinballs and 8 of them are Data East/Stern/Sega. I've played hundreds of different pinballs. Please keep your uninformed comments to yourself if you don't know wtf you are talking about.

RareHero: Some feel like a Williams, some don't. Personally my favorite Stern pinball is The Sopranos followed by Lord of the Rings. Spider-Man is a GREAT pinball and if I had more time with Indiana Jones it would probably be my favorite pin.

Stern has made some stinkers and overrated pinballs...Roller COaster Tycoon, Pirates of the Carribbean is "ok", and Monopoly come to mind...the quality is much better these days with some the licensed stuff (Batman) but it's hit or miss with these, you can't please everyone and as much as aesthetics go, Iron Man looks nice, but recycled themes with LESS to do are a huge turn off for me.

....uh...nah I think if you had more time w/ Indiana Jones you'd be bored out of your f'ing mind. :)

I know it was a "slow" game for me when I played it, but I love the Ark dumping all the balls on the playfield and the fact the game is really all the Indy movies combined...I liked it more than Batman for some reason...

It's not that it's slow, it's that there's just nothing to do. You see the ark a few times, the gimmick is over...and there's no gameplay left. Just "shoot the ramp 50 times to complete Scene" or "shoot scoop 20 times" ....it's a boring chore to play.

Batman's still not finished yet, and there will eventually be a software update ...but even in it's current state, it's more fun and has more to do than Indy. I'm not a huge fan of the game...but - the crane is a GREAT toy and very fun to hit.

I couldn't agree more....I love the Indiana Jones franchise and I REALLY wanted to love this pin but- the damn thing is SO repetitive. Greg said it best shoot the cup scoop 50 times, shoot the ramp 50 times and shoot the stone 50 times. This is a recipe for boredom! The ark Multiball is cool but does wear thin after awhile...One thing, would a code update make this game more fun?
