New home...I hope.

That house is awesome looking! Best of luck to you!

I don't associate cars with the houses they are with. We have a modest house on 11 acres. 2700 sq. ft. + 900 sq ft in the basement. I drive a Chevy Trailblazer (when it works, LOL)

The trailer park behind us has some mobile homes where the homeowners have Cadillacs, Corvettes, and Mercedes.

It's all a matter of what you want :)

Good luck with the house!

Chris

I COULD live in a bigger/nicer house, but I choose to live well within my means and not have a ridiculous house payment. That being said, my primary residence has over 4,200 sq. Ft, 1,350 of it is the basement game room plus an additional dedicated movie theater, a detached heated/cooled workshop (for 4 car capacity) with 5 bedrooms upstairs. I would rather stay in this house and be able to remain comfortable during uncertain economic times than to have to worry whether or not I can pay the bills every month. I also have nice cars, which I probably wouldn't have if I lived in a more "exclusive" part of the city with the correspondingly high mortgage payment...

Yes, you're wise to live in that tiny house and saved your money. I was just telling my neighbor the other day that I was glad I just bought a train instead of the 747 I was originally going to get.

Good grief, and I thought cutting half an acre was a pain in the neck, how do you keep that under control? And the more important question, why don't you have a giant arcade building behind the house? You certainly have the space :)
