Bought an original Defender cab from another KLOV member recently. It has a toggle power switch under the control panel, which I assume is where it is supposed to be on a Williams cab, but it is not wired in anymore. Currently, I have to turn the game on and off via a power strip. That's no way to go, so I want to install a new power toggle switch.

All of the work on my small collection of cabs has been aesthetic thus far.....all body work. This unit has an original Williams power supply rebuilt by the previous owner. The switch was ordered and will be here in a few days but I don't know where to wire it in on the far end. I did a little looking on YouTube to see if I could find the appropriate instructional video, but I have not really found what I am looking for.

Looks like the switch I bought has blades at the connection points, so I assume I can buy some connectors and crimp them versus having to solder at both ends? In addition, what type of wire should I use to connect this switch?

Thanks for any guidance. I need to finally do something INSIDE a cabinet and this is starting small!
