Latest gameroom pics.

I moved my work shop area behind my bar to open up the gameroom a bit more. There are a few things not pictured (there is a row of games in front of the bar and a Touchmaster that gets set up on the bar itself.

Of course my Pole Position being a Pole Position has gone from working to booting to garbage just from being moved across the room. I haven't opened it up to troubleshoot it yet.

I actually have a few more machines than I really want, as the row in front of the bar is cramped.

Kick ass ! You have a Dedicated Samurai Showdown , I never see those . You also have the spare monitor on top of a game with insane MsPac burn , just like my gameroom .

Whats that Candy Cab with Contra running , MAME ?

No mame, it is actually running a Contra board. It was Golden Axe but I needed a good System One motherboard and ended up having to trade the Golden Axe board for it. Long term I want something other than Contra in it, as Contra is hard to play with those twitchy Candy cabinet sticks.

The cabinet labeled Mame is the only mame cabinet, however a lot of the cabinets are multicabinets, one of the cabarets is a 60 in 1 (with the 8-way titles disabled), the Samurai Shodown has a 161 game multicart, I have a multicart for the second neo geo too, but currently it is just Cyber-Lip, Ms. Pac has the 96 in 1 Mike Doyle kit, the Joust has the jRok board in it, however I haven't put together a panel for it yet, the red "Robotron" is a 19 in 1 (with the 4-way titles disabled), there is both a Megatouch and a Touchmaster and sometimes the cabaret with the purple joystick runs the uzebox Jamma instead of Breakthru.

Opened up the Pole Position, looks like the acid damage from when the battery puked had spread again. I swapped that board with a clean looking one from another set and it came back to life. I have like 8 or 9 sets of Pole Position boards, eventually I will rig up a Pole Position set up on the test bench and see if I can't get most of them working right.

I have more spare monitors then I know what to do with. I am pretty much hoarding the things.

So far all I have played on it are Golden Axe and Contra. I loved Golden Axe on it, but I need a working Atari System I board and traded my Golden Axe board for it. Contra is a bit hard to play with those short throw joysticks. I will probably put something else in it later.

How you liking the Exceleena?

Shoot I wish I had that problem !

Are there any games besides MsPac that a screened burned MsPac monitor can go in where its not that noticeable ? Maybe Galaxian , Galaga ?

If you chuck it behind tinted plexi you can pretty much install it in anything. I actually have 4 or 5 more 19" tubes than I have monitors. So I probably wouldn't have to install it in anything with that tube.

I have 23 games in the gameroom, I think I actually have more spare monitors than that.

Im trying to locate the power cable for demo derby lol How are you powering that?

My Demo Derby doesn't work yet. I have two of them (one is a Sarge conversion) and both of them had power cables that were basically gone. IIRC it isn't a special cable or anything, cutting the source end off a standard PC power cable should work fine.

The mini cab between the megatouch and 60n1 , whats the story about that cab , it looks pretty cool .

I have an extra MsPac burned monitor , I'll try it behind some tinted plexi .

Sorry I was being a smart ass ...Didnt see a power cable lol

It was a Cherry Master that I hand picked out of a row of "dead" ones that were for sale at $25 each (it ended up being functional). I liked the look of it too. It is jamma now, currently running Break Thru.
