I picked up a subroc 3D cockpit a few days ago and just got around to looking at it this afternoon. When I picked it up the video was messed up and it had no sound, I have went threw and reseated all the connectors, I now have sound, but the video is still messed up..

I have tested voltage everything checked out only thing that was a little low was 8v wich came in at 7.55v

The only thing I have tried ended up screwing up more than helping, the way I read the pin out in the book it seemed like pin 8 which in the book says RET(+8) should have +8v so I check it and it came up -0.4 so I wired it into the other +8 line and that ended up causing issues with the LED high score board (now I have to try and find some replacements Grrrr)
So I hooked them back up how they were....

I have posted some video, but its not real clear, so just to give an idea of whats going on all the video appears to have a green tent and all images appear as squiggly static lines and shapes, in self test mode all the text is clear but all looks green and the color bar test screen is all different shades of green...

So where do I go from here any idea's? I have the week off and would really like to have this one fixed (aside for the LCD displays) by this weekend.

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Here are the two videos

So while I patiently awaited a response I decided to tear into the game a bit more, pulled all the boards and monitor/chassis cleaned and reseated EVERYTHING!!
Now all the images are clear, but everything is still GREEN! also when it goes to the high score screen it is too dim even with the contrast turned all the way up.

So what do you think, cap kit? I have never done one of those before, would it fix these color and brightness issues, or should I start looking for a new monitor and chassis?

More experimenting, messed with the RGB adjustment screws on the neck board, green was cranked all the way up and seized in place, got it broke loose turned it down also wiped red and blue, green tint is now gone and now I have colors that look red and white, still no blue.

So I am guessing the the blue on this monitor is shot...

I am going to start shopping around for a new monitor and chassis, what should I look for, will any old TV from goodwill work or do I need something more specialized?

Sorry, I know these are newbie questions, but truth is I know absolutely nothing about monitors...
