When I get a new game in, I often find myself standing by it thinking things like "So where all have you been? Where exactly were you when I was 12 and reached my first Pac-Man kill screen - bowling alley in Dayton? Sleazy lounge bar in LA? Maybe a grocery store entrance somewhere? I wonder what celebs might have played you - maybe even *I* played you somewhere bitd.

Yeah I was always so envious of the dudes that would be *really* good at a game. Then finally I found one where I could just learn some patterns and kick its ass. There was a Shakeys pizza in my hometown with a really neat arcade. It was so neat to finally be the one getting crowds of people watching. I even learned a few diff 9th key patterns so it wasn't so obvious it was just the same thing over and over. I got to the kill screen a few times by myself, then later, I had a buddy Sean that I taught the patterns to, and we'd switch off - playing 10 screens per til we would get to the end. Fun times!
