OK... another CL post: Elevator Action cocktail ... "working" but no pictures
So I email the guy and I am hoping it's the Taito cocktail shown in the flyer.
We set a time and I head out to his place.
Get there and what greets me is an Atari cocktail cabinet running EA
OK... a little disappointed but the cabinet is in awesome shape AND it has an interesting set of legs. At first I thought they were homemade but now I am not so sure. They actually look stock.
He has no keys so I take it as is. After I get home, I check it out more closely. Seems it's from Ireland and it was born an Asteroids Deluxe.
Before I power it up again, I drill the locks and check it out inside.
Hey... look at that crazy EA PCB set... it's BLUE!
Bootleg EA.
Anyway, interesting combination of things. I am going to return it to its childhood and make it an AD again.
Any comments on the legs or the PCB or whatever are welcome.
