I always love how Galaxian scores are always so low compared to Galaga. It is stingy with the points!

Just last night, I achieved a new high score on my Galaxian. It was over 18,000. I noticed that when you get to the 6th board, things pick up quite a bit. You really have to make those 800 point combos count every time the triple "convoy" drops.
...10-4 good buddy. Looks like we've got ourselves a CONVOY!...

I'd love to swing out your way sometime and challenge some scores aka see your game collection and swap local arcade stories! My GF digs these old games, too...This week has been a real barn burner for me. A couple days ago I put up a new High Score on Popeye in Arcade Hades. Now this morning, waaaaay down at the other end of the mall, in The Outer Limits, I put up a new high score on Galaxian. It has taken me months to finally break my old high score. I blame the microswitch buttons the previous owner installed. Time to change them out for leafs. I hope Sav doesn't make fun of me (as that really hurts my feelings) but the new Galaxian high score to beat is a cool 9 G's. If anyone wants to stop by and challenge me, feel free, but you better be a fan of studded leather coasters and Ether Martinis.

Yeah I think I was on board 4 and had hit at least 5 convoys by that point. I was on a roll, but died twice in a row on the 4th board costing me the title shot.

I love Galaxian and I love the support for it here. Just as good as Galaga, each separate in their own right.
