Hey all,
I'm working on rebuilding a wei-ya C3129D chassis, and bought a replacement flyback for it (HI3129E dual focus), unfortunately the replacement is physically a bit different than the original. As such, there is a plastic tube protruding from the side of it that keeps it from being able to fit as it hits the metal shielding on the chassis.
I've been collecting games for a long time but honestly I've never known what the purpose of this tube on the flyback is, it seems to be on every flyback so I'm sure it's there for something. It seems to be hollow, so could I feasibly slightly trim it to fit, or would I be better off dremeling a slot in the metal instead? If neither is a good idea then I'll work on tracking down a different flyback.
