NEW ENGLAND WAREHOUSE RUN PART II, or is it III? I have no idea. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!

Holy crap!! WHat a night.

ARJCM, DragonMA and myself went north to that warehouse in NH. We grabbed a few things for ourselves and hauled back some others for some of our local collector brothers. I'll let them tell you who they are and what is theirs.

We got pulled over by the cops on the way home. We told the cop where the warehouse was. He wanted some games. He let us off. Cool beans.

Pictures here:

I got the minty NEO, the Dragon Spirit, a broken free Rowe Juke, and the two dart boards. Fun stuff.

And I just cleaned my garage out!!!

I hope Adam or Gregg views that x-men as a grail. I can't see lugging that beast around unless it's at the top of my list, and even then it would have to be at high noon and not midnight.

The six player x-men was not fun. :)

Adam and I just unloaded the whole trailer alone. IT BLEW. :)

Yeah, that's a beast.

I always wanted a dedicated Tecmo Bowl after I played one years ago; in fact, I think it was the last new game to hit our arcade before it shut down. But I remember that it was about as big as a studio apartment.

Monaco GP sit-down cabinet: awesome. That was the marquee machine at our smaller arcade.

@ncfiala Don't piss on their oatmeal. :001_ssuprised:

Good haul guys and yes, that X-Men looks like a big pain in the ass to move.

;

Personally, I think half the fun would be to poke around said warehouse... ncfiala doesn't "get it" and will likely never "get it".

Monaco GP is mine. The cab was in very good shape. Only minor issues it has are the lack of a wood gearshift knob and the seat cushion is missing and has been replaced with a piece of shag carpet :confused:

Not bad for a Grant. It will be joining my driving wall with Turbo, Pole Position II, Out-Run and Special Criminal Investigations.

Big Thank YOU to John and Adam for grabbing this for me...

I don't know why people bother with these warehouse runs. 99% of the time, and that includes this time, it's nothing but junk. I'd rather buy one decent game than spend the same amount on an entire warehouse full of shit.

If an absolute mint 100% original dedicated Neo Geo (which I have been looking for)with beautiful 25" monitor is junk, then I like junk!! The dedicated Dragon Spirit is pretty awesome too. Yeah, the gameplay is ok, but it's a nice original cabinet. And, I had to take it to get the NEO. Not junk.

But, yes, I would normally agree with you. I went to another warehouse this week that was full of dead classics and left with nothing. It was almost all junk. There were very few cabs worth looking at.

For the most part, everything in this warehouse was maintained and working. This was an active op. They knew the status of every cab in the place. The NEO works 100% and so does the Dragon Spirit. Most of everything we brought back is working. All of it is pretty or very clean. We have a few projects, but had to take those to get the better stuff.

The NEO had Bust a Move and Metal Slug in it. He wanted to keep those. So, he gave me NAM 75, Bomberman, and two fighting games. I am gonna throw in the 138 in 1 and call it a day.

But to be fair, there was a fair amount of junk. Junk in good shape, but nothing worth wasting that much space over. And I'm glad that neo geo is fully working. I didn't notice if you guys plugged everything in before we started loading. And I think Adam should install a service elevator to his gameroom!

Thats the problem with having your browser block pictures. It forces you to make comments, that in the face of pictures containing mint machines, make you seem...Well, silly.

C'mon these cabinets arn't half bad and hey they are having fun.
Been a long time since I had any fun so I really enjoyed seeing the pictures.
Think it's great that the experience is shared here.

Don't be so negative.
