New England Warehouse raid...yes Again! Lots of pics!

Nice raid!

I had never even heard of Grannie and the Gators before; is it much fun?

I get the impression that someone has gone there before and got what they wanted. Why shit on someone else's day?

Wow... Someone should grab those 4 baby pac playfields! :)

Actually, there were several nice Baby playfields if all you wanted was the plastics and the field itself. They just stripped 3 baby pacs about a month ago and those playfields were nice. I would have grabbed them if I didnt already pic up 3 others... with only one baby pac, I am at my limit, but John may go back for a couple!

OP usually refers to an "Operator" AKA route owner

When describing a person in a thread, OP stands for the "Original Poster"

was that a converted warlords cocktail??? I would love to get my hands on one.. so i could copy the shit out of it!

Yes it is... there were two of them there.

I've got the board, harness and spinners from one of them... but the glasses were toast, so I didn't grab either of the cabs.

Isn't Darin at Phoenix Arcade planning on reproducing the top glass? I thought I saw a thread about it once upon a time....

Yes, that was a former Warlords CT. They stated it had been converted several times over. They even must have scraped "Warlords" off the glass. We came across some parts/board for it, but he didnt want to sell the board untested.

Okay... So, we crawled around in this place when we first got there, saw what we wanted, told the guy, and he sent his guys out to get all the machines we were interested in to the workshop area.

We had to go to the 3rd floor to get the Zeke's Peaks, but the owner sent a guy up to move 2 or 3 games so we would have a path to get them out.

I got the Duramold home and the only thing (besides the conversion) wrong with it, was a few loose wires and a bad PS. If the parts can be found, this will be a far easier restore than mine is.. hell I may make this one a Bubbles and the other I have a MultiWilliams for a while until I find a black one, and or find the pieces to bring it back to a Bubbles. Since I now think I will be able to get CPO's fairly soon... this should be AWESOME!

I tested a few things today, the monitor works, and I'll be damned... the TMNT PCB works! With the JAMMA harness already strung, and the fact I have a Jrok board and a Duramold Multi Williams CP with Multi Williams CPO already... I may be able to have this thing working as a Multi Williams in no time flat! Just need a Marquee!!!

Between the board and the monitor, it was like getting paid to take this! Not to mention it still has the original Williams Brick with molex as they have a Williams to Jamma converter in it! (Not sure if that all works yet)

Cant wait until after Xmas to get the Granny and the Zeke's into the house! I just bought a New back glass for the Granny, even though it doesnt really look as bad as I thought so I may not even need to install it!

Here are some more pictures of the day!

Isn't that a unique cabinet? glass or no glass, why wouldn't you grab the cab?

Probably because he already has a sweet Warlords cocktail. Even if you got that junker cab for free (and you won't) it would be a long and difficult process to get all the parts you need to get that back to a Warlords. And I'm willing to bet you would end up spending more than if you just bought a working one from a collector.

I'd say $500 in parts and some bondo and paint and you could turn that to a like mint warlords. At least after Darin completes the top glass which I just got an email yesterday that he's starting on soon.

Oh hell yeah. That's great news!

I'd be perfectly happy living with the scratchy glass I have now on mine, but if there's a repro I'll jump at the chance to buy one.
