Why does this board require that specific power supply? I've had one for 4 years that has worked in every cab it's run in (about 4 different cabs).

Let just say that I have had past problems when I sold a few of these. They always worked fine for me, but some people had issues and the only difference was a smaller power supply. So truly it does not require a 200 Watt, but I highly recommend one at least a 150 Watt. I believe that all CPS II games should be run with at least a 150 Watt. I have had them not work correctly with 100-110 Watt, but work just fine with 200 Watt.

This is also sold, just got done retesting it and forgot how much fun these boards are.

They're great boards - real CPS2 hardware with a nice selection of roms, but yeah, they are very finicky about the voltage. Make sure your jamma extension is using proper gauge wire for power and measure with a voltmeter at the edge connector. I was getting just barely 4.6V and 11.9V and that seemed to be enough to keep it powered without the screen blanking or resetting.
