Its called the 1UP
Located at 1925 blake st in Denver, CO.

I just added this over at Aurcade.com, but only added games I could identify from the photos. If you get back there again, would it be possible to get a list of all the games? I got most of them between your pics and an online blog, but there's a couple I can't tell, and on the blog, it mentions some cocktail tables, none of which were in their pics (well, one pic showed 3 of them, one appears to be a Nintendo, one might be Ms Pac). Here's a link to the listing I just created:

Thanks for the memory :D I've updated the listing with what you added. Thanks for the links too. I actually found both of those earlier when I started adding games to the listing, the 2nd one had a ton of good pics which is where I got most of the list from.

Awesome! Probably will have to hit this up today sometime. Thanks for the heads up on it. I hope that their business does well.

I wish them luck.... I shudder with the thought of some of those back in a bar environment, especially the rare pieces. Oh well....ain't my games.

That looks like a sweet lineup. I just talked to a buddy that lives in Denver and he said he went there this weekend and that it was pretty sweet.

I will definitely be hitting that place when I visit CO

Hit this up with cleverlyj last night. What a great place! A ton of available street parking around the block, and tons of space inside. I wasn't constantly bumping elbows into people, but the place still had a lot of people there for a Tuesday night with the Rockies not in town.

I had never seen Track n' Field with trackballs before. I was able to get all the way to the hammer throw. Was that a legit variation? I'm inclined to think so due to the control panel overlay.

But yeah, it's fantastic. Looks like the Journey is no longer there, however. Anyone in the know with 1UP know if it's planning on making a comeback?

Curious... Did you check out the custom Ice Cold Beer keg machine? I sold him a set of ICB side art and was hired to do a custom ICB Marquee. Just curious how it turned out!

Yes, it's legit. There was an arcade in Lakeland, FL where I lived for a few years as a kid that had one. I didn't know there was a button version of the game until many years later, but I wish I did, the trackball was tiring.

1UP is a cool name for an arcade.

Isn't that gay bar you go to called "Bottoms Up" ? :)

yeah, it looked good! i think they have a pic of it on their facebook page, bill. it's slapped on a generic cab but has a shitload of taps on the front.

yeah, the trackball was hard as hell. being left handed, i kept hitting the left throw/jump button with my left hand, and i totally sucked at it.

btw, the hot blonde waitress with monstrous boobs named karen (i think) is wicked hot. she was there on her off day yesterday (semi drunk), saw my sox t-shirt, and talked to me forever. turns out she's from boston and is a huge sox fan too. kept coming over and checking on me and robb the whole time we were there.

and jon - do you know how often they rotate the games out of there? i'd love to see the super pac and journey make a comeback...
