lol! that's as far as they will get as far as selling them. I have a lot of parts to collect to build a complete centipede cabaret, as much as i would like to. Marquee and bezel are shot, and no control panel :(

These cabs you are building are very nice. I wish you weren't so damn far away from me because I'm sure at some point I'll need a cab replaced - Barry

when i track down all the pieces to mine, i planed on the woodgrain vinyl. I really wish i could find it cheaper than 125.00 from arcadeshop. I'd like to make vinyled an option on my cabinets where applicable. i do offer vinyled on the dragons lair, but at arcadeshop prices, it's steep. Working with another Klover on a bulk buy of DL Vinyl, should be half price to what i normally pay.

We need to figure out Arcadeshop's source!! Of course I also heard that there woodgrain vinyl is not very close to the original. I haven't seen it myself.

The cab looks sweet. I bought a Dig Dug cabaret a while back from a former Atari employee. In the deal he also gave me a NOS Centipede control panel, trackball, wiring harness, coin door, and power supply. All I need is a PCB, monitor, and a cab. He was planning on converting the Dig Dug into a Centipede because Centipede was his favorite game. I am in the process of making a cabinet. All I have is the sides cut. Maybe I should try to sweet talk you in to cutting and sending me all the rest of the pieces.:D

Since your on the cabaret building kick, why not build a pacman cabaret or some other ones ?, seems to me that you could sell and ship these cabaret cabinets in kit form without too much difficulty.

i said it before and i'll say it one more time. i do not own a pacman cabaret and if i don't have it right in front of me, there's no way i can accurately reproduce it. I am looking for one locally, if i find it, you will be the first person i contact directly.

I had a Robby Roto and Pac Man cabaret reproduced a few years ago.

Added 3 inches to the depth so that they didnt need the "bubble" on the back door. You couldnt tell it was added unless there was an original next to it.

Had a company that normally made gambling machine cabinets. They did an awesome job. Hinged CPs, leg levelers, rear door locks, mesh and even a nice dark woodgrain.

I wanted to sell kits but I dont think the market was ready back then (like 2004)

Nice work Brett!!

I've seen Parabolic's signs in person.. excellent work!! =)

I'd like plans to build one too :)

We need more cabaret plans :)

It's not as simple as plans.. there's a lot of 3/4" blocking that has to be positioned just so, etc.. Really, I can't see building an accurate copy without one to reference right there. I have to build a reproduction of the Missile Command, BZ, and Centipede cabarets as I have projects in junk cabinets, so I've done some work on this. Best thing would be to see who is reproducing cabinets and buy one.

It certainly depends on how accurate you want to be, versus how much money you can spend on projects like this LOL. I'd rather just build a rough copy and a run a computer inside. I'm not trying to build Rome, just a functional Detroit :)

Probably easier to build Rome at this point.
