NEW! Arcade Memory Maps now on-line in BETA!

I think this is awesome. I cross referenced Donkey Kong fluke sigs and it looks good.

Also realized you allow uploading ten files at once to rom identify which is also a nice little feature.

New bookmarks added for my troubleshooting go to.

Ok so found an issue. The fluke sigs with only 3 characters should probably have a zero in front.

example
gorfpgm1
873a.x1 should be 0F2E

Only other thing you might want to include is the byte sum checksum as that is what most eprom programmers show.

My eprom programmer gets a little carried away with checksum options probably. :)

edit>>I am sure most will understand this but when searching via checksum or fluke sig your chances of collision or matching on different files will increase. eg. donkey kong romc fluke sig 4655.

Yeah the problem with Checksum is it's unreliable. You could have a corrupt ROM that actually has the correct Checksum. Best to use the CRC or the SHA1 to test with.

bumparoo. just used the reverse fluke sig lookup today. definitely useful.

Reminder, if you want to address, the fluke sigs with only 3 characters should probably have a zero in front.

gorfpgm1
873a.x1 should be 0F2E

Website has been updated. Fluke Signatures now appear on the Memory Map page as well.

I should also point out that @toledoflyer brought his fluke over today and we were working on a Frogger Sound board. The Fluke Signature for ROM 608 is incorrect as the ROM has Pins 9 and 10 reversed on the PCB (on purpose by Sega/Konami). Since the signatures were generated from MAME ROMS they do not match what is actually read from the Fluke and bits 0 and 1 are reversed for that ROM.
