What do you think?

Very nice! This place is obviously much larger than I had originally thought. I think you might need to track down another couple of change machines. You've got a few small places against walls right at the end of some of the uprights that might work well for those smaller change machines.

having experience helping to lay out several arcade shows and rooms over the last few years i can say it looks like, from that drawing, you may be overly ambitious about the number of games you can comfortably fit in your space. some of those corners are pretty tight as is the space between rows. if you don't have room for two people to play back to back AND someone to get between them it's going to feel very constricted if you get more than a few people in there at a time (which i assume you'll want to during prime hours.)

we had similar issues at the NW Pinball and Arcade show in 2011 and by reducing the overall number of games we serviced a larger crowd with fewer flow problems (though it still wasn't perfect.)

also, i concur on needing some additional change machines spread about.

and planning for only 5 pins? pins are huge in the Seattle/Portland area right now and draw as much if not more than the video games at a lot of venues.

This looks like it is going to be a fantastic space....however, I would think you would want a clear line of sight to any entrance to monitor traffic and potentially welcome your guests. This means a clear line of sight from the bar area since I assume it will be staffed at all times? People also might be hesitant to walk in if they don't see an employe as they enter the arcade.

Also, you have a ton of games and that is awesome but you only have one change machine. I would think you need at least 3 or 4 change machines....with 2 spaced out on the floor and 2 by the main entrance. This way, people can grab some quarters/tokens and go play. I think it would stink as a new guest to enter the arcade, hunt out a change machine and then find a game to play. You want to capture as many impulse buys/plays as possible.

Good luck!

Are the walls of the south vestibule solid, or will they be big windows, or what? Is that already there, or are you building it...if you are building it, what purpose does it serve? Is this the rear entrance, or main entrance?

my opinion...if it is the main entrance, make it floor to ceiling glass, so you can see inside as soon as you come in the door. Get rid of the 4 cabinets on the vestibule wall, and remove the block of 10 cabinets as soon as you come in the door. I think it would make it feel very confined as soon as you walk in, rather than feeling open and roomy. Not sure where you could relocate these to though.

The cocktails are probably good as they are, since they have a low profile and won't block visibility when you come in. The three right along the bar may be cramped though - people are going to congregate around the bar, so it might be better to move those cocktails into the space right inside the door.

The cocktail over by the booths might be troublesome if you are doing table service. If so, you'll probably want your servers to have PLENTY of room to get through if they are carrying a large tray of food/drinks. Same thing on the other side between the booths and the cabinets - make sure there's enough room for your server(s).

And +1 for more change machines. One near the door when you come in, and one closer to the bar

Very True, as my Google sketch-it layout wasn't as exact as my drawing.
Especially the spacing.
BUT I really like how you moved the cockpits and they will be featured better and easier to get in and out!! NICE!
