I picked up a new game hauler today. I was sad to see my old 4 runner go. It gave me 12 years of solid performance. I probably moved 400 games with that thing, here's to 400 more :)

Nice. I am finally at the place where I feel like I can let mine go. I am not actively chasing games anymore and I am ok with only being able to do the trades where they come to me.

Sweet. That would've been soooo handy in the past for me when I used a (now dead) minivan... now I just have to offer my truck buddies beer and hope they're up for an adventure :D

Congrats, nice ride. Vehicles are so expensive. I've only bought one truck new and that was when I was 20. It looks brand new, is it? I tend to buy vehicles that are two or three years old now so it's less of a hit on the initial price, registering and insuring them.

Yep, so true. The reason your brand new car depreciates 10% as soon as you drive it off the lot is because that $3000 just went into the pocket of the guy who just sold it to you...

Always the chance you're buying someone elses problems. Nothing wrong with buying them new if you're going to keep 'em. I bought 4 brand new vehicles in my life and still have all of them!

Congrats....:D

Noice!

I have an 02 powerstroke with 500k on it. It's a company truck though, I drove it two hours one way to pick up a game a few weeks ago and didn't have to pay a dime in fuel.

Welcome to the F150 SuperCab club. Got one myself. :)

Of course, you should not post a pick of an "arcade hauler" if there is no game in the back. tsk tsk tsk ...

For example ->

Ha! Yes the truck is new but with the 2017's rolling out they were very eager to clean out inventory. Almost $8k in incentives, plus some dealer bonuses put the vehicle only a few thousand away from the used F150 I was looking at. Plus the aluminum frame should keep the rust away.

Compared to my 4runner, this thing is a monster. I'm trying to get used to driving it.

I recently replaced my 94 ranger with a 02 F-150 XLT. It was a great deal so I didn't shop around too much.

However..... next time I want to get a full-size with the most space between the wheel wells. Even though the truck is rated for twice the Ranger, I can still only lay one game down at a time. Just a little too narrow for 2 games.

Does anyone know which of the full size pickups (i.e. 1500, F150, Silverado, Tundra, etc..) have the most width in the truck bed? I'd like be able to lay down 2 pac-man size cabs side-by-side. Did it vary by body style /year?

Nice looking truck, Chris. Pretty jealous, I had to rock the minivan to pickup a game last night. I'll get a truck one of these days. Enjoy!

I can get 2 ms pacman size games in the back of my 2016 tundra pro
it has 50 inches between the fenders

Regarding the Tundra: Do you have a insert or spray bedliner? I think that I am losing a little width (couple inches) because of mine.

it has a spray in

but my 2012 tundra I had before this truck had a plastic bedliner in it and I could get 2 side by side in it--

Guess I'll take a measuring tape next time :)

Guy will ask if I want to look under the hood and I'll be jumping in the back to see how wide it is. "Sir, wouldn't you want to look at the engine?" Nope. Can fix whatever problems are there. Can't do much about the width of the bed unless I get real serious with a sledge hammer.

Too funny. Of course I had to run outside and measure the width on mine. 62" between the rails, 52" between the wheel wells. No bed liner yet, I'm saving for that.

It's always interesting looking over the pond at you guys with your pickups. We don't really have those over here. We use vans to move cabs about:

America needs more vans.

What do you do when it rains?
