I should have posted this here a while back since I know there is some interest in newer arcade titles on occasion. IAAPA 2012 took place almost two weeks ago and there was plenty to see there. There certainly is an uptick in porting mobile games over to arcade platforms as of late and that was very apparent at the show with Temple Run, Lane Splitter Extreme and Doodle Jump being some newer entries and except for Doodle Jump those can be set to arcade only and they have some extra hardware element to them, like Lane Splitter has some motorcycle handlebars to use. A brand new version of Sea Wolf was there too and that can be set to amusement-only. One of my favorites was Dark Escape 4D which was a great game but unfortunately the price tag on it of about $32,000ish will mean you will only find this at very specific locations, maybe Dave & Busters and one or two other places. Now for the shameless plugs!

Some of the game are already out there to play (Snocross is at many Dave & Busters locations), others will be out before too long. Wizard of Oz pinball was a favorite of mine but I can't afford one for now :/

Huh, I wonder why it's restricted, I try not to have anything objectionable but I guess it depends on what work filters consider appropriate or not.

Here's the video of Temple Run:

I tried uploading a photo but the system here comes up with an error on that one.

No problem. It's a little under $7000 from what I know, so certainly a big jump from a free phone app :p. I think it's so much because of "we can charge this" mentality more than anything.

A lot of content filters use very broad content categories which probably labels the site as "Game" or "Gaming". If the admin blocks that category (which is common to prevent workers from playing flash games or the like) then this site would be blocked as well.
