so are you using the vector vga thing then, or zektor? and are you presently maming the game, or did you get a boardset?

Another forum I visit. One of the guys over there made them with a laser etching machine. I made the wood box and put a fluorescent fixture inside.

Well, I won't say 'very nice', but I'm happy that Star Trek is at least on the screen.

oh- and the sides look very nice and white- retr0brite?

I could not get that to mix correctly and I tried substitutes that had been recommended with no luck. It's krylon.

Nice looking cabinet.

Not sure about the metal electrical outlet box.

Routing cords to a surge strip looks a little cleaner and it's a surge strip..

Monitor looks a little small.. you can see the plastic around it.

Could you not completely decase the monitor? A 21" would be the best choice to hide the bezel and mazimise the amount the tube shows

Nice to see it mostly looks original on the outside..

Surge strips have been known to catch fire, posted before.

Monitor has been completely stripped of it's plastic.

If I can find a 21" monitor that will fit in the case I will install it. No luck yet. I am just happy as hell to be able to play it again after all these years. For those of you with these cockpits don't attempt to replace the back plexi. There is more glue on it then a PVC factory.
