picked this up on cl today for $75. it was playing blind with no neck glow so i swapped in a pro vision i had sitting here in a box and viola a working pole position cockpit. it needs a bezel, rear plexi and roof and the cab is kinda ruff. it was worth the $75 just to have my 7yr old son help me swap the monitor. father, son time is pricless. he was super exited to play it because he worked on it. for those that dont know my son is autistic so keeping his attention on one thing (like swaping a monitor) is difficult for him but he did it. he LOVES to play games. he has been buging me to get a "racecar" game for a while now so he is very happy. anyway here is a picture(because it did happen).

Very cool..I like the placement too..U reminded me of a young boy that used to come to the aladdins castle I ran just to watch the games. He was autistic as well..Video games are actually useful on another level.
Btw you sound like a cool guy!!! Have fun with your son and your games..

That's an awesome story and an awesome game, even more beautiful cab. What a deal, when I see a game with awesome side-art like that it reminds me how priceless this hobby is. I LOVE THESE GAMES!!! That is an awesome piece of gaming history and you got it for less than a hondo!

the sideart may look good in the pictures but the cab is in rough shape. i made sure i put the bad side against the wall. it was pretty dirty when i got it home. it did clean up better than i expected.

Nice pickup :)

Too bad it didn't fit in the back of my Explorer or it would have been gone on Thursday......:p

you know the guy that had it? it was only on cl for 10 min when i called him. he was surprised i called so quick after he placed the ad. i just got lucky. it was posted right before i went on cl.

He had it listed on Thursday as well, I sent him a text about it and he invited me over to look at it that night, we attempted to put it in my Explorer but it was just a little too wide, He wanted me to come back on Fri with a pickup or trailer but I had a bunch of things going on and I have no trailer or truck so I'd have to rent one, I did tell him if he didn't sell it by Sat to give me a text, he texted me this morning that it was sold.
Pretty good deal and all in all would have been a little more of a project than I would have liked to have, just not in the cards for me this time.
Better it went to you, there will be others in the future for me I'm sure of it...:p
