I was headed to NY for spring break and decided to surf craigslist.
Came across this ad.
(an 8+ hrs trip is usually a no go for me, but already making the trip with trailer, so why not?)
Decided to write and see what the bottom price was.
This was my message:
"Do you still have the Pole Position?
I'll be passing through the area next Tuesday, what is your min price if you still have it then?"
and the response:
"HI, I do not know what it means "pole position" min price will be $75."
So they didn't know what the game was, just said Atari on the side... ROFL
Anyway, a real bear to get out of their basement, very narrow stairs.
The worse part was, if you remember doing sit ups in gym class and getting noisy results, I was worse coming up the steps with this thing.
(and the lady selling it kept trying to help right behind me, it was awful) I mean, how do you apologize for that??
The seller was very kind to hold the machine for me for a week. They were moving, so it was a big favor.
Pretty good shape, non-working, likely needs a switcher installed as it flakes pretty quickly.
The monitor has the "game over" burn in... but the screen shot is this game (spider web at the top of the monitor pic).
At least it does work somewhat to start with.
