New access to warehouse!!! Waiting outside as I type

finally have been granted access to the warehouse of a local operator, it's taken me at least five trips to there office, while I'm working, to butter them up enough to let me take a look in the storage building. I got the super duper secret address, and have arrived. Just waiting for the key master to show up at 1230. should be interesting. I don't know anything in particular I'm looking for right now, but just sold three games yesterday, so I got a wad o cash to blow. I sold my Frogger I just finished, and the guy gave me an offer I couldn't refuse on my Cruisn USA. his help he brought with him ended up buying my turd game, aka Double Axle, so I got way too much space in the Cade right now. hopefully the prices are good, they don't sell to the public. Wish me luck, I'll try to post my finding when clear there

All right boys, prepare to hate me........

some of ya know I'm a deputy here, but I certainly wouldn't use that to my negotiating advantage, however, guy was extremely nice, I've been flirting up his wife at the office for quit some time. They have maybe fifty games, all classics, Froggers, at least 20 pac mans, galaga, you name it. I immediately went to a Choplifter, looked awesome. Made a great contact for further acquisitions, but without further ado.....

I'm getting the Choplifter, an Afterburner, and an old Taito game, I think it was called Colony 7 or something.........FREE

Obviously the previous statement is b.s. Without pics that will have to wait till Monday when I pick them up. Probably gonna spend the rest of the weekend researching them.

I think I can probably get a Pacman off them too since they had so many, I'll see. I don't like Pacman, but they are popular.

To finish I'll just list what I remember seeing
Off road, Galaga, TMNT, Ms. Pacs, Pacs, PAC Jr, maybe 30 NSM jukes, Combatribes, bunch of fighting games.........it was too much to take in and remember.

If I can fit six games in my wives dads f150, I'm gonna try and leave with 6, even if I gotta pay, the deal is too good, but I bet I can get 6 for free.
Wait till Monday for pictures, I'm going there at 10........

This would be cool to get in on.

Is it in Charleston? The family is putting up Christmas decorations tomorrow, but I could ditch that for some game spelunking :)

Serious- drop me a line if you want to spread the joy.

You have been flirting up his wife? Are they swingers or something?

You sure they didnt say things like .. "Take whatever you want" "You have the gun" "Please dont hurt us" .. dam you robbed um:)

Nice score! If only they were all this easy.

forget the father inlaws truck i would show up in the biggest u haul truck i could rent with a huge smile on my face saying im ready lets load her up lol

I know, right!!? I don't want to burn the guys generosity, because I told him I would be back in a few months to get more!!! I told him, next time I come, I'm paying, no matter what... free is awesome, don't get me wrong, but I want to establish a long term relate with him, and his family business.
I've got to get a picture of this place on Monday, it's just really neat to see 20-30 Pacmans all in a row..... Maybe I should call in sick tmw??????????? Nahhhh, I'll wait till Monday. I found that Taito Colony 7 on the game lookup, looks pretty rare, I better not do to that what I just did to that Frogger, if y'all remember!!!! choplifter and afterburner seem to have available parts on my preliminary search
....well, gotta go for now, work be a callin!!!!!

no,you must paint the colony 7 floursecent yellow pink circles on it!

only jk.

some people are just born frikkin lucky!
:(

wow LUCKY!!!! last warehouse I was at the guy "I will cut you an awesome deal" and he tried to convince me a beat super mario with no monitor or cp was worth 250..glad to see you made out better!

Colony 7 is a rare game. It was produced on Defender hardware under license to Taito. It is in MAME and it is a Missle Command type game. I managed to score a boardset on EBay a few months ago, but haven't had time to try to bring it up. I played it on MAME and it is a frickin' crazy game.

I don't know how many were made as I am not sure that it was released here in the US.

Hey Mitsu,
I'm pretty sure the TMNT was not working because the control panel was off and leaning up against the front of it. However, if this makes any sense, all these games were lined up exactly at 90 degree angles to each other, and the control panel was leaned up against the game in a nice way?! My point is, that observing the warehouse, and the manner of which the games were lined up, the way the plugs were looped up, the organization, The consistent dust, the era of games, I concluded that these were all placed here at the same time, and I believe that to be when they were taken off route. All 80s games, so I am guessing they were put here sometime in the early 90s?!?
More specifically November 22 of 1992, approximately around 239pm....... I wish I was that good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But seriously, they don't look like they have moved an inch in 20 years give or take, but they are dry, so that's good.

Mitsu, I'll try to get the TMNT, knowing that condition, how much should I offer him?? I think it looked complete other then the control panel being off.

I'm actually looking for a trailer today to possibly use, which would be easier then the bed of a truck, and could also hold maybe 8 games!!!

If its dedicated and the cab is in decent shape, I dunno, $100 to $150? If it doesn't work that is. The cheaper the better but only if is fair to the op. Negotiate a bit. Keep me posted on what they want.

Can you get a list of what's there for the next trip?

If you see a Demolition Derby CT .. LMK Also Im looking for a Sega Time Traveler marquee.
