You can still buy new Kortek 19" monitors for $200ea however most people would prefer VP or WG. Someone recently sold a VP here on the boards for $250ish plus shipping rather quickly. What model number is the WG?

You can probably get $100 each. I'll take them all. :D

I think between $200 and $250 is probably right. Maybe a bit higher if you aren't in a hurry to sell them.

I agree. The 200-250 range seems to be what I've seen them for.

I'll buy a VP from you if you are looking to sell.

It's funny how people prefer the Wells-Gardner first, then Vision Pro, then the Imperial......they all use the same Kortek chassis. Ironic.

Its all about name. The same holds true in todays displays. The OEM (Samsung I think) screens are in many different brands but people prefer Samsung (again, I think).

I think there may be a bit more to it than that. There have been a number of threads over the last year regarding bad NIB Kortek monitors. Some people were even told by Betson and other places that there was a recall. Admittedly I'm not a tech and don't know monitors that well, but I've seen plenty of threads regarding those NIB Korteks that arcadeshop sells...

Not in this case:
Pacray mentions receiving a full pallet of "bad" Korteks
Recall info and someone else that received 3 out of 4 go bad in an hour
Ragooman & Micksimmonds also had issues with them...

I do know Happ switch to Tovis brand monitors at some point. This is kinda a problem with Vision Pro monitors.....You don't know who made it until you get it. They are not all the same (even though they all say "Vision Pro"). I've personally seen Vision Pro branded monitors made by Kortek, Tovis, and Segai.
