Why delete your OP? You gotta have more patience man, if you're going to sell an item like that. I've had big-ticket items sit for months, before they found the right buyer at the right time. You can't expect people to be fighting over a specialty item that a relatively small number of people can afford, be interested in, actually see, and have the money ready, all at the same time. Finding that person takes more than a day and a half. A majority of the members on this site didn't even see your pics.
I love the work, your stuff is always great. But taking your ball and going home is lame. You got nothing but positive support in this thread.
As someone who makes a living selling products and services here, if your products aren't selling the way you'd like them to, maybe it's time to look at your side of it and what you can do, instead of blaming the market. (And that's me being supportive.) Food for thought.

Maybe he felt like he was putting himself out there and/or didn't really want to sell it and with no interest/buyers in 48 hours decided to take it off the market.

Like I said in the original listing, I know from past experience this is not the audience for my work and I am preparing to sell my work through other avenues.

Says the guy who deleted his OP.
Why not just leave your thread as it is? Does it hurt you to leave it here and let people appreciate it (and perhaps let a buyer stumble across it)? If you want to sell something, isn't leaving the ad up the best thing you could do?
Saying KLOV 'isn't the audience for your work' makes no sense. Why is it not the 'right' audience?

What did I do besides compare you to one of the coolest superheroes ever? It was funny, and not derogatory at all. I'm with @andrewb here, we all love your work. I've even told you that personally on multiple occasions, but you often post your cool stuff and take it down quickly. It's like giving a child a new cool toy and then snatching it back after 30 seconds.
