So somehow I just got one of these...supposedly it's fully working but we'll see. Has anyone worked on these? What should I look out for? Where do I order all the stuff from?

Alright, got it home today, took a look at it and spent a little time with the service manual.

It's an Automatic product model 203 hot beverage machine. Most of it seems to be there and it turned on and all when I plugged it in. Seems pretty clean. It has a Coin Co bill acceptor, model MAG50SA. I haven't been inside the water tank to see what kind of build-up is in there.

From what I can gather, I need the coffee filter tank thing - it has the Everpure QL3 head installed, so I assume I'll need to pick up the same model filter, like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Everpure-EV9272-00-QL3-BH2-Coffee-Filter/dp/B005INBG1Q/ref=pd_cp_hi_0

I also need to figure out hooking it up to the outside water line and what that entails. Does anyone have experience with this?

There may be some tubing on the inside I'm missing...maybe something to do with mixing too...there is a metal piece hanging from two wires giving it power that I don't know what it's there for.

Check out the pics...any thoughts appreciated...

and wow...that's annoying...I'm using a new phone, and the pictures are saved right-side-up on my desktop, but when I upload them on here they're all turned on their side?

I worked on a much older version of one of those.
It should not be too hard to get working.

I hope it was not sitting too long. Some of the values get a little funny when they sit too long.

Funny as in the silicon rubber in the value needs to be replaced or the Values over heats and does not close or open properly.

Why don't you see if there are any service updates on the vending machine.

If there is build up in the tank, Check values while your at it.

Parts should not be hard to find nor the logic board.

Making progress...

Does anyone know where I can get a lock for this thing? The manual says to use a Chicago #4266 lock but there doesn't seem to be anywhere that sells them and I assume any similarly shaped lock will do?

any tube vending lock should work just ebay for tube vending locks

as for everything else...these coffee machines are a hassle heres a note
MAKE SURE ALL PRODUCTS ARE MARKED "FOR VENDING MACHINES" or "WHIPPING MIX"
otherwise it will cause you a lot of problems. in all honesty coffee machines are a disgusting mess i do vending but i refuse to use them i rather install a kreug and put the cups in a snack machine

if you need parts try vendors exchange (veii) they will have all the parts you need its a good machine

Without those industrial preservatives and the anti caking stuff, it would takes you days to clean it all up even with a pressure washer..
