Well, thanks for the information about the Red Tent.

Here are some pics:

I was able to swill a RT from a local tavern owner who had one just sitting in the back hall of his bar, and hadn't been turned on for at least 10 years.

I offered him $100 and he happily accepted. The tent has some obvious wear on it, but since it was in his tavern many moons ago, this thing is in pristene shape. One monitor is extremely pristine, while the other has some very bad blur.

It is a Vs. Super Mario Brothers, and Vs. Golf.

I thought I would share the news, and pictures will be up after I demolish the local Buffet. Just lifting that damn thing means I need to eat hardy.

Be back in a couple with photos and vid.

Congrats on the score! There sure have been a lot of folks looking for and getting these things the last few years. Prior to that, I don't recall seeing much interest in them. I have one myself and they are unique and it's pretty easy to swap games.

Nice! I'm sure it has some great character to it, considering the nature of your find. Acquired mine a month or so ago, and absolutely love it.

Some pics for the forum, I put a link to more on the top post. Gonna put a posting about the monitor blurriness in the monitor forum.

Never liked the look of the red tents, but I know that they are coveted by many a KLOVer.Plus,it is nice to see fellow KLOVers find stuff they'd been looking for,so congrats to you!

A buddy scoured this unit down for me. I wasn't really looking for it, but glad to have it.
I got a 'red tent' myself after acquiring it.

Forgot to mention, there was only one key, but I still managed to open the hood. Anyone know where to get another key????
Also there was a little over $5 in the coin box.

I noticed one of the coin return buttons was depressed so I took the hood off to find out what was going on in there.

After alot of screwing around I pulled 4 more dollars of misc change out of there, it was all jammed up. I appeared to have fixed it...

Anyway, the monitors were super fithy. I used about 6 paper towels cleaning the monitor alone from cig tar. The first few towels were pure black after wiping.
