This is a really well done NES from hack. Been years in the making. Basically combines all SM 1-3 games into one. Just started playing it but so far it's awesome.

Highly recommend if you are into NES retro gaming.

Here is the website for more info on the ROM hack files

I just loaded this game onto my RGB30 handheld running a 1:1 screen ratio. I've only played 2 minutes of it and I already love it. This is definitley one of the best rom hacks out there. Looking forward to completing it. Thanks for the recommendation @KaBoom1701

Very nice.

I gotta get me a hand held device. I travel a lot for work so this could come in handy.

The retro handheld market has absolutely exploded. There are dozens and dozens of makes/models to choose from these days. All with varying degrees of advantages and disadvantages.

There is a guy I follow on YouTube that reviews all of them. Careful though, the rabbit hole for this market goes very deep. It's easy to get carried away trying to find the perfect handheld.

Sounds like when I started down the PVM monitor route....... cost me a PVM 2950Q and a RBG modded NES in the end. LOL

If anyone out there is looking for more homebrew experiences, check out the PICO-8 platform. It's only $15 to own the "console" and from there you have access to hundreds and hundreds of free "cartridges". The style of the games are done in a very classic look. 128x128 and 16 colors. I have not tried it myself but apparently it's also easy to design your own games for it.

There are too many great games on this platform to mention but here are a few I've found that are basically clones of existing arcade games:

Dinkey Kong (Donkey Kong clone)

Demon Castle (Castlevania clone)
