I've only ever seen one and it was outrageously expensive. I don't recall what it ended up selling for, but I seem to remember it being a lot more than I could ever afford. To my knowledge, these never went to market, so I doubt there are many out there.

NES chair? I've been in the game since '87 and never heard of that one.

Other than that, check out atariage.com for used games in their forum.

Ive never heard of it either and Ive seen almost everything. I would probably recommend getting that last since its probably just some really crappy third part thing. Still looks pretty cool.

From the few articles out there, it seems to be a prototype and was never released. Not sure if it was third party or not and I don't know if anyone really knows at this point. Honestly, it looks like something you could build yourself with some welding experience.

Yeah, interesting concept, but it looks like it would snap in half. It must have been really bad given the amount of peripherals that came out for the NES and this one didn't make it. It could have just been timing, who knows?

Out of all the rare Nintendo collector pieces I've seen, the glass display for R.O.B is one of my favorites. One sold recently on eBay for over $4000.

that ROB display is just plain awesome ....

a nintendo icon right there and a gaming piece of history. wonder how the plexi glass on that looks up close?? could see it being real scratched up (esp if it was on display @ a tru, gemco, or a fedco from the 80's).

I actually wanted to do something like this in the future where I have my collectible Nintendo stuff in a glass/plexi case with labels and such. Set up little mini halogen lights to shine on each product. It would be like a mini Nintendo museum. But I guess that will be a long-term goal in a future home where I'll have a dedicated game room with a bunch of space. :)
