Ok thanks to some guys at work who worked on CRT's before I can shed a little more light onto the problem. The 3501 monitor was only showing blue color. We looked around the neck board and the monitor board underneath it and didn't find that looked suspicious. Since we knew the blue signal was working we then took the blue signal feed and shot it to the green and red guns....both times we did that the Screen went green for the green and Red for the Red. Am I now to assume that the problem is not in the Neck/monitor board but of the Vegas 777 board. Any thoughts? Thanks again.

I have similiar issue, but mine involves speaker interference on the screen or that is only thing I can think of since everything works 100% outside of cab (not original cab).

Yeah I'm just concerned it is the Vegas Board and its not repairable and I'll have to find a new one, which I may never find

I have Vegas boards..

Did you go in setup and go thru the video tests. They have the color bars in it. You can try your color guns in that.

Ok just ran through the tests and same result....everything is blue the green and red never showed up? I'm stumped? Again we tested the guns with the blue feed and we got the green and red to show up but now when I test I get nothing....I think I'm going to start with the video card, cheapest route and I could always use a spare and go from there. Any thoughts?

Brian. I think you said before you had 1 other game. The Gauntlet DL has a dip switch setting for Standard and Medium resolution. You should be able to use that monitor to test your outputs in standard mode. It would be odd to lose 2 colors at the CPU. If you know someone with a scope you could look at the Red & Green and see if there is any signal there. If you find the problem is the monitor I would look at the LM1203N (RGB Video Amplifier) on the monitor chassis.

Well looks like my concern may be a reality....looks like the video card is fine...game looks great a 17" lcd monitor...so looks like it maybe in the Vegas boards. Reason I say this is because we got the Monitor running and working and looking good with a VGA cable hack(if you will). We took a spare VGA cable I had, cut the connector off one end and ran the the wires into the wiring harness where the color wires(from the board) connect with the monitor. Once we did this and adjusted the V-hold...boom perfect picture with good color. Will this work for now yes but I would like to get the root of the problem.
