I have converted both of my Rush 2049 SE cabs to have PC's in them with LCD monitors and I just don't have the room to store these and don't think I will ever use them again.

1 of them was recently capped and a new flyback was put in, as well as I replaced the HOT and did some other work on it, but it looks fantastic.

The other one I had planned on recapping just because I wanted to do both of them, but I never got around to doing it. I do have the capkit as well as flyback that I will include with that one.

Unfortunately I did not take videos of them before I took them out. I could dig up some videos of the monitors if need be probably, but they were both in great working shape.

I am asking $300 each or come take both for $250 each ($500 total)

I am asking $300 for the remaining one, which does include the capkit and flyback.

EDIT: The one I already capped recently has been sold for $300.

I don't really have any interest in shipping these and am located in Rockville, MD. If for some reason you REALLY need these and need them shipped and will take sole responsibility of all of that stuff, we can talk.

Shoot me a PM if you are interested in one or two of them.

EDIT:

Sorry for the confusion below. These are definitely NT-2702 hi-res monitors and all along I thought they were medium res lol.

And don't worry these are NOT sitting on carpet - there is a 3/4" piece of MDF that these are sitting on.

EDIT 2:

Here is the most recent video I could find of the monitors in action. This is from April 2023. The one on the right is the one that I did a cap kit on and replaced the HOT (and few other parts) and this is after I did that. The one on the left is the one I never got around to doing a cap kit on, and I mean it's not even in dire needs of one. But like I said, I have the cap kit as well as replacement flyback for it and will include it with the monitor. The monitors were basically in that same condition before I pulled them out. I am banging my head on the desk that I did not take a video or pic of them before taking them out lol.

These are vga, right? Any idea if they would fit in blast City cabs?
Let me get back to you on this one.

I THOUGHT they were 2702 monitors, but I also thought they were medium resoultion, and googling that seems to not be the case because 2702 is hi res. Maybe I was wrong and they were hi res monitors the whole time lol. They could be 2701 though I'll just have to check.

I'll check them out in a bit and see if there is a label on them and I'll snap a pic just to confirm.

As for what fits in blast city cabs I am not sure. i thought those candy cabs used 29" monitors but I'm not sure.

so i just went down this road trying to repair mine...
same chassis, NT-2702 as I understand it this is VGA, the 2701 is med-res
the game can output all three modes by dip switch, std, med and vga

here are pictures of my two 2702 chassis

one guy i was referred to said he didnt work on these, another one said it would likely be around $250 ($100 parts, $150 labor) and another never responded.
If I was keeping them I'd likely get them repaired but I was trying to get these two last Rush games (had 4 initially) running for a friend of mine for about $600 in value total

take it for what it's worth, im no expert, your mileage may vary :)

So I just checked my dip switches and they were set to 1 off 2 on which would be medium res.

I also just googled the number on my tubes it's an rca tube and the results pointed to it being for hi res. The tube type numbers A68AEG25X03.

I do think it's a 2701 though because it's set to medium res on the dip switches and I remember always saying it was medium res.

Is there an easy way to tell just by looking at them?

I'll update my post though to reflect its 2701 now I think lol.

EDIT:

Okay I am dumb as shit, there is a sticker on the one side of the chassis bracket that I didn't see before and just saw now, and it clearly says NT-2702 lol.

I'll update the OP with the pics, so scratch everything I said about it being medium res. Apparently it's hi res.

The dip switches def are set to med res, unless the side that says ON on the dip switches are wrong lol. Both have 1 off 2 on and the rest are all off.

I dunno maybe the game automatically syncs properly if there is a mismatch?

EDIT:

Here is a pic of the dip switches.

EDIT 2:

Looking at the manual, this doesn't even match what the page right after shows in the manual lol. According to this dip switch test, it looks like mine is set to VGA, even though that doesn't match the other pic shown above, which is literally the next page in the manual.

Definitely interested in one of these if you still have them, sent a DM.

The one that has been recapped has been sold.

The other one is still available and I will include the capkit as well as flyback!

Check out the video above to see the screen as it doesn't even need to be recapped immediately or anything.
