Hi all, I have temporarily set aside the three k-7000 chassis I am having issues with.

I decided to work on my neotec to get my cruisin world working.
When I got it, the picture was fairly dim and missing the green or the red, can't remember.

I had read here that the brightness issue was caused by caps and not the flyback.
The monitor had a pic, so I got the cap kit from bob and installed it yesterday.
I installed them one by one being careful to check polarity and the values.

I took it out to the shop and installed it and now I don't have any picture at all.
I just downloaded the manual, and I am going to doublecheck my work.

I will find out what the B+ is and report back.

I do not hear any ticking, any suggestions as to where else to look or troubleshoot?
Thanks Dan

got picture back, still missing green

I found a resistor that had broken loose during my cap job, resoldered it, now I have a transistor out on the neckboard I think.
I'm going to cross-reference the numbers and see if I have any in stock.
q-901 or q-904= green?

do you have access to a rejuvenator??

i ask because its pretty common for those neotecs to have bad guns in the tubes.....

just a fyi...

i hope for your sake you get away with just a transistor or something. Glad to hear you were able to fix what ya messed up lol been there many times myself man..

Fixed it.

I did have a bad transistor on the neck board, but the green was still missing.
I hooked it up to a known good tube and voilla, cruisin world lives again.
thanks for the replies.

Now I need to get back to the 3 k7000's that are giving me trouble.
